Chicco Caddy Hook On Chair

Product Review Sunday
Nannies, we understand how frustrating it can be to feed little ones when out on the town. Youngsters don't want to be fed sitting in their strollers. They want to be allowed to sit at the table with you and their family.

That's why we love the Caddy Hook On Chair. This Hook On Table Chair is safe and sturdy and uses a secure system designed to fasten to the bottom of table. The padded handles sit flat against the top of your table and the universal double locking system hooks and locks to secure the chair to your table. Folds compact for storage.

It is easy to carry and transport, and folds compactly for storage. For safety, the table chair includes a three point safety harness system that retrains but does not restrict baby for maximum comfort. The seat padding can be removed and machine washed. Lightweight in its design, the Hook On weighs only seven pounds. The removable seat pad is washable.

Stop by next Sunday for another product review for nannies and au pairs.

Honestly- I would not use this...
My diaper bag is already heavy-
and to add another 7 lbs. along with a child is too much.
I've cared for many children and have usually had a pleasant time eating out with them. They don't mind being in the stroller or sitting in the highchair that is provided by the rest. (however I do clean the high chair very well first.) And then use a table topper(plastic sheet) in front of it to place any food for the child.
Once they get a little older- they are fine with sitting on a booster seat when we eat at a booth. All rest. we visit are "kid" friendly, so it's never a problem.

Wanted to add...if the child is going to stay a friends or relatives, this maybe a good thing-so you don't have to have a big highchair.

I love this particular model and prefer using it at home rather than a traditional highchair.

For me, the baby seems less separated from the rest of the family than in a highchair.

I love it! There's no need to carry it in the diaper bag. Just leave it in the trunk. When you go to a friend's house for a playdate or a visit and they don't have a highchair run out to the car and grab it. It's smaller than a high chair and you will have instant easy way to feed or play with baby.

This is a great product. Granted it may not be necessary for those who don't eat out or visit others much. But I like going on playdates and groups activities and this is a really helpful product. I think it's super! You can use it at home too. Much smaller than a big high chair.

We use this in the apt! I'm a live in au pair in a small apartment in the city so we use this instead of a bulky chair. Works great. Love it.
